Hi Everyone,
Would really appreciate if anyone can enlighten me on the modification of the air intake for the Subaru T.S. What would be advisable to do? From cold air intake to the exhaust? or do I need to take into consideration any other areas of the car to have it effectively with the extra push?
Appreciate some advise.
Many thanks.::p

Greetings!
How's it going there bro? I have the same virusinfectedlinkvirusinfectedlinkvirusinfectedlin kvirusinfectedlink as you and sorry to be brutally honest, our TS' power really cannot make it man. Even if you do tweak it, i doubt it can push on any better. If you want a fast car, i think the only solution is to change your set of wheels? I had the civic before my current impreza and i can say our TS trails behind the smoke of most cars on the roads.
But oh well, on a consoling note, it's style-over-function! Cheers mate..

Perhaps trying changing yr air filter.. a Gd brand should be K&N filter. Since u r driving a TS supersprint exhaust is recommended. & U wana more better insert unichip.. Do some tunning for it. But no matter TS is still bit under-powered.

LEGAL WAYS
Change light weight crank pully
K&N Close pod
Unichip Q
Light weight rims
Supersprint exos
This set up u can get at least 107BHP than Stock BHP that is 98
Illegal way and cant be notice during inspection
Get a 2.5 or 2.2 NA lower block and UNICHIP tune settle

Hi Rexyboy,
Bro, just checking, do you do modifications as well as i see you can source for lots of accessories. If yes, what is the cost like for the things you have quoted.
Thanks.

Bro, maybe you can consider a td04 turbo which is a stock turbocharger for wrx, blitz sus air intake system, upgrade the block, spark plugs, lighten pulleys, cams, gear ratio, lsd, conversion of back drum brakes to disc ones, intake manifold, extractor, up pipe , down pipe, fujitsubo/ trust exhaust systems, upgrade your clutch system/ flywheel- ogura/ exedy etc, cold air intake, ecu upgrade & more etc... feel free to take your pick of any of the above mentioned.

Hi there,
I doubt there is really a way to boost the 'push' thru cold air intake.
anyway, the impreza 1.6i or TS is neither that lousy compared to other cars on the road.
the cornering is definitely a 'swift' compared to a honda...
Cheers

Hi Rexyboy,
Indeed, will be appreciative if you could just let out to know how much was spent on the stuff you mentioned?
I had my filter changed to K&N. maybe u can enlighten the diff between a open pod and close pod?
Thanks

Hi,
Sorry for riding onto this thread. I'm driving a wrx 2.0. Does it mean that supersprint exos is better for my ride as well? I'm currently considering doing up a HKS one. Please advice.

sorry but what does a 2.5 or 2.2 NA lower block mean? it means adding a turbo or changing the engine? =)
and does adding a unichip means to do piggyback tuning like those in BMS?
sorry im new to this. =) thank you for helping out.

HI all. Just got my 1.5 impreza 5D hatchback. Thinking of changing my air intake to either a drop-in or a closed pod. which would be more ideal if i want better pick up?
and i don't think i will stop there. i'll probably consider CAI, exos and piggyback maybe?
