I intent to lower my impreza 09 and i'm kinda new here... Do i need to change the suspensions or just change the coilovers? I'm pretty confused... Is there any good place that specialize in modification to impreza 09? Any place that i can ask about modifying impreza 09?

when you talk about lowering your ride, it's either changing the coilovers or just the springs.

coilovers are more expensive but last longer and it's better. springs are cheaper but they don't last long and it is said that the springs might damage your stock suspensions.

btw what are you looking to mod?

How much is the coilovers? Do you know of any place that specialize in lowering? I intent to change the exhaust system and add some power to my throttle... And probably add some bodykit...

There are a few shops selling coilovers. Try Jeep Chee or Fong Kim cause they also do exos.

btw what is your car model?

Is your car 1.5 or 2.0? If your's is 1.5, then it isn't really a mistake cause 17" will make your car heavier thus will kinda slow your car down. Worst if your's a AT.

As for exos, you must 1st know what you want.. boxer note or better pick ups.

For boxer note decat a must. Unequal extractor, mid pipe etc.. ... Please note that for this set up, performance will be affected. Therefore i suggest tunning after decating. You might not get the same note as wrx or sti though...

If you are looking at pick up, stayin stock is the best option.
