hey rexy, how old r u to call urself an old man driving a rex? i just got my 07 rex as well, very happy with my new car despite the high insurance of $4k plus. I spend each minute on the road with my rex without regrets

Am going 44 this yr, ins premium much lower at just over 1k sourced fr my broker due to my age, full ncd and no claims for past 10+ yrs. Will likely convert car to new opc scheme. Hope to meet up. Cheers. :)

congrats on ur new car, i always believe we only live once and should enjoy to the fullest while we can. everyone in my family said i deserved to pamper myself a little after i bought the rex as they have seen me working hard all these years. i must say that rex gives more a lot more driving pleasure compared to my previous toyota (to hell with the fuel consumption... lol).

i suppose you live in bt panjang, which is a place i work every week. i usually park my car at the multi-storey carpark nearest to block 629 senja rd. if you see a silver wrx with high mount spoiler, that is my car. as for my car number, it came out consolation price a couple of days back (reverse).

Sorry for the late reply. Well the insurance broker came back and now say need 3k for premium. Am having 2nd thots but then its now or maybe never. The car is actually not really expensive for the perf and technology, just the maintenance cost lot more. Will be getting more insurance quotes tomorrow, keeping my fingers crossed. Am thinking abt converting it to rev OPC though. Yes I stay at Bukit Panjang Jelebu and am zipping around now in a Swift Sport. Cheers
