Halo my Subaru Forester Frenz....
Just a question to check on the fuel consumption of the forester... some fedback of 9km/l. I might think its rather conservative..... anyone hit 10+ yet for fuel consumption?

Hi,
My lowest hit for 100% city drive is 100km with 12 liter(based on meter), but so far only 3rd tank, I am sure it will hit 10liter or below if driving higway frequently. Need further monitoring.
Cheers.

Wow! How did you do that? I'm getting only 9.4 km/l on average. Do you have highway driving.
To the earlier question its for 2.0l. Turbo versions hopeful to get 6-7km/l.

Hi guys,
My forester 09 is doing 8L/100Km. I did install a broquet and sprint booster with Pivot VS and grounding, and drop in Hurricane filter.:)

Hi all, I got my forester 2.5xt in jul 2008 and done 33k so far. may be some info that i can share:
what i can recall from the meter readings
1. ave city/highway 11.5 l/100km
2. sg speed limit on highway about 10 l/100km
3. mal highway near top speed 15.5 to 16 l/100 km
4. mal highway +- highway legal about 9 to 10 l/100km
5. never stay behind others on traffic light. much higher than item 1 above.
6. auto cruise is lighter on the pocket
7. keep the turbo on all the time--expensive.
cheers
