Just had a freak accident with my forester....
I have reverse sensors installed and I usually look back as I always do so for double prevention... However for this particular incident, which happened in a carpark in Serangoon Gardens, the sensor did not sound and I also did not see any obstacles behind but "crashed" into a pillar I went... !@#$%^&*()_+
I hadn't even gone for my first servicing yet (only 3-weeks old).. which was due the next day.... Super Sian man.... Now I'm thinking of changing to another brand new forester but the 2.5 Turbo version.... don't know it is stupidity or blindness.. but for sure super KNN sian siah!
The workshop guy advised me not to change new bumper as it is quite expensive to do so.... I got the quote at $780 with spray paint, reflective glass (the red one) and reverse sensors reinstalled for a brand new bumper...compared to getting it repaired (as best as possible) for slightly under $300.... what do you guys think? Which option better?
