Modification of the new Impreza 09 hatchback

Hi guys. Just bought my Super impreza 09 hatchback. Pretty excited about the car but just that i feel its alittle under-powered compared to a honda fit and even the swift!

Any legal ways to boost up the power a little bit to give it that slight push? Not expecting any drastic difference though, but at least something slightly more.

Hi,

Both Honda and Swift are DOHC design so their pick up naturally faster. So if you want to have power at low rpm, there is no right way except the left way.

Probably look at some simple mods like drop in air filter (preferable if yours is an auto rather than open pod) and better spark plugs.

Tuning will be costly and the improvement might not be significant.
