Hi Guys,
I just got my ride...a subaru impreza 1.5A, the 2009 model.
I put in a broquet. But heard i should change my air filter. I was also told to do some Waxing Glaze to protect my car paint.
Can someone advice me if the above is necessary??
I am a green horn at all this.
Thanks Folks!

Hi,
I put in a new Hurricane air filter for my new subaru 1.5R replacing the one comes with the car. Should be good though.
For waxing, it is personal preference but for new car, good to have a protection layer but again it is your choice :).
May be you should consider a throttle controller as well :)
Cheers

Thanks. I already changed to hurricane air filter. I also did the waxing protective layer. Must take care of the new baby.. :-) .
How does throttle controller help? My fren has it..but i think its mainly for sports only..

Hi All,
I wanted to get stepper gauges for my Subaru Impreza. But Subaru workshop told me they only carry Defi brand and that it will cost abt 1.6K for 3 meters.
The thing is, my car is under 5 yr warranty, so i dun dare go outside do.. anyone got any ideas? Is there a way i can do cheaper meters without voiding warranty?

There is no way to avoid MI voiding of the warranty, unless you get it from them. Same goes for any part you change for the car.

ofcos your fc will slightly affected, if u think of your warranty than u can forget about mod your car cos once u mod your car the car warranty will void

U can still mod...it will just cost more and maybe less mod avail..
one should never void warranty..simply not worth it..
Anyway my question is about increase in rim and FC.....

Has anyone increased their rims from 15 inch to 17 inch? I am currently doing 10KM/L. Does anyone know what will my FC be is i change to 17?
