Major servicing for 80,000km

Hi all Forester owners,

I need abit of assistance here. I am currently driving a 2004 Forester 2.0XT and my mileage is now 80,000km+.

1) I would like to do a major servicing which include timing chain (service? of change?). Is there any reliable workshops in the East which can do this job?

2) My timing chain is giving a noise when the engine is cool during wram up but the noise will "disappear" after driving for about 10-15 minutes. Is there any owner out there who has this problems now or before? What is the actual cause of this?

You can come by my workshop in 53 Paya Ubi Industrial Park #01-40.

For Timing belt package $950,it includes the following:

Timing Belt
Water Pump
Idler belt
Compressor belt
Adj AY-Belt tensioner
Water pump gaskets
Thermo gasket
Labour for the above items

ELF Fully Synthetic servicing is $98nett inclusive of oil filter,and labour. GST-free.

For gear lube,we uses AGIP Rotrax and Motul LSD Type 1.
